What customers say?

“ La Fromagerie in Bloomsbury is an amazing restaurant. I am French, so I know my cheeses, and I can honestly say the quality of the cheese they use is excellent. Every dish we tried was very tasty and clearly made with great ingredients. The street itself is beautiful and the location is absolutely stunning. The whole place felt very romantic and perfect for a date or a special evening. The staff were also really lovely and made us feel very welcome throughout the night. The manager (I think), a dark haired man, was sitting nearby having his dinner and chatting with the team and he seemed really cute, which was definitely a nice bonus and added to the overall charm of the place. The only downside for me was the portion size. Everything was quite small and I still felt a little hungry when I left. Apart from that, I had a great evening and I would highly, highly recommend this restaurant. ”

“ Such a wonderful dining experience. The staff are lovely and attentive. The music was played at a quiet level. The temperature indoors was good and the tables were spaced evenly. It was a lovely experience. The decor is very tasteful. The table candles created a romantic atmosphere. The dish portions were generous and beautifully presented. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone who comes to london. Thank you for such a wonderful evening. The meal is reasonably priced too. ”

“ The ambience was amazing and the fondue’s cheese was a bit strange (maybe to my palate)— would have been great with different cheese options! The wine was delicious. I enjoyed the charcuterie and my friend liked the broccoli with fondue. Everyone working there was kind and helpful, and there’s a cheese shop in the front. The cakes look good— will be back for cake and coffee. ”

“ A very nice surprise! I've passed by so many times by this little cute street and seen "La Fromagerie" but never stopped. The Cured Meats were delicious, I'm very fussy when it comes to food, and this exceeded my expectations. It was top notch quality! Everything we ordered was wonderful, the speck, the fennel salame and San giovese, amazing! The Marinated Sardines with salsa Verde were also a standout. Loved the sourdough bread they offered from Little Pedlar, one of my favourite bakeries in London. The wine was also really good. Not the cheapest but worth the experience! Also, very romantic, as this street has cute lights and it was very enjoyable dining outside, felt more like being in a European city, somewhere in Amsterdam or Paris. ”

“ Fantastic brunch items with very high quality produce. The service was also amazing! Highly recommended ”

“ A bit overpriced French cafe given its in Bloomsbury and great for lunchtime. Great to shop for cheese and bread as well. Will recommend their soups, bread and cheese. The mains are pricey for the deal even for the area. Staff are helpful and courteous and the restaurant is tastefully decorated with ample seating downstairs with fine wine cellar. ”
